It seems to me mens fashion is so regimented to trousers and shirts, yet womens fashion is so diverse.Any thoughts on why And is it any wonder some men are seeking to wear womens clothes, just for a bit of variety?

I will only note this - when I tell my boyfriend that I need new black pants - he looks at me and tells me I already have 3 pairs that I hardley wear. What does he know? One's Dark black, one's charcoal, and the other is ebony. Just a thought.

Womens fashion is more diverse because women haven naturally been given the gift of feminenity. The social rule was that women make the mans threads, and man wear it-no questions asked. As for men wearing womens clothes...there really isnt much a explanation. Fashion was mean to be explored with--in result making men look preferably chich and androgynous.PS...prep labels like Ralph Lauren influence other head honcho labels too...and business & yatch attire has always been the look for men who spend money on these clothes. So, I dont think trousers are going anywhere, if Bill Gates pays his two cents
