My Aunt passed away several years ago and we found this type of watch and no one has any idea of where it came from. Her Mother emigrated from France and her Father emigrated from Ireland in the early 1900's. Her Mother was an AuPere for the Bache family before her marriage. They lived in NYC

I found a few sales online for watches from that manufacturer but nothing on the history.The prices for the watches were not very high - usually under US$50.There is a company called Astor Live that brags about 100% positive ratings that does a lot on eBay.
